You know how you can tell it’s almost Christmas? Because it’s 40 degrees in SF. And if you can’t feel anything for some reason, there’s always the Christmas lights + tree they put up in Union Square.

I finally got to go home after a few long months here in the Bay and believe me, it was a much needed vacation. I felt like I was going out of my mind with the city being so fast paced and all. Life down south is much slower and a bit mundane at times. Just how I like it ( sometimes ;] ) I stayed at the Grand Pacific Palisades Resort for most of Thanksgiving week. The place sits right above the Carlsbad flower fields (close to Legoland) but being that it’s winter, there were no flowers in sight. I couldn’t believe how cold it was in Socal as it reached temperatures that felt more like SF.
